چکیده
A highly efficient reduction process of Cr (VI) with biochar was conducted in this paper. The results showed that nearly 100% reduced at selected reaction conditions: Dosage m (C)/m(Cr) = 3.0, temperature 90 °C, time of60 min, and concentration H2SO4 20 g/L. kinetics analysis demonstrated the fitted well pseudo-first-order model apparent activation energy calculated to be 40.24 kJ/mol. Response surface methodology confirmed all experimental parameters had a positive effect on (VI). influence each parameter followed order: biochar>concentration H2SO4>reaction >reaction time. This paper provides versatile strategy for treatment wastewater containing shows bright tomorrow treatment.

متن کاملBentazon removal from aqueous solution by reverse osmosis; optimization of effective parameters using response surface methodology
Although bentazon is widely used as an agricultural herbicide, it is harmful to humans and poses many environmental threats. This study focused on the treatment of wastewater contaminated with bentazon pesticides using membrane technology. In this regard, low-pressure reverse osmosis (RO) was employed as it has already been used in the removal of other micro-pollutants. The effects of process v...
متن کاملProduction of Cereal- based Probiotic Beverage Optimized by Response Surface Methodology and Investigation of Its Properties
Background and Objectives: In general, most probiotic products are dairy-based and a few efforts have been made to develop probiotic products using other substrates such as cereal grains. Rice can be used as a basis for the production of many functional foods. However, rice in Iran is mostly consumed as plate food rather than in the formulation of relevant functional foods. In this study, the r...
